It needs a complete upgrade or torn down the outside hallways are dangerous, because of the cracking cement. The pool deck has loose boards and old wood. the rooms are clean but way outdated, actually scary

I liked that the front desk associate changed my room at my request with almost no attitude. It seemed as though the sheets were clean.

The rooms are completely outdated. The kitchenettes are disgusting, I hesitated to even put my bottled water in the refrigerator. The bathroom sink area and shower area could definitely use sprucing up. The carpets were beyond disgusting, they felt damp and were covered with stains. The poor "spray" painting job in the shower area was really sad, it doesn't take much talent to paint, I hope the paint crew didn't charge you much. I could go on but I think you get the idea. Oh yeah, and sliding glass doors on to the patio would have been a wise investment instead of the ugly doors that don't stay open.

What I liked the most was having a beach front room with a balcony. I found the staff to be friendly and approachable. There was a standard sized outdoor pool as well as a small 'kiddie' pool and an adequate amount of lounge chairs, tables and umbrellas.

The room was basically clean and comfortable. However, I didn't dare walk on the carpet with bare feet. It was stained and not in the best shape. Although there were plenty towels/wash cloths, they were small, hard, and dingy. The Tiki bar closed way too early.

The price was good and located right on the beach.

The room wasn't clean like it should be. Had toys from the previous guest in the room. The bath tub was not draining. Had to call maintenance everyday.

rooms are not updated and the beds are terrible

Convenience of everything with-in walking distance. The Tiki Bar. Covered parking.

Public had easy access to the pool from the beach. No one checked for proof as guests. i paid to for the use of the pool but the general public could walk in off the street and swim for free.

I liked the oceanfront rooms with private balconies and the closeness to shopping for food and the different types of activities that are close also. The Veranda had a very good breakface menu also.

I read some horrible reviews about LaPlaya Resort and Suites and was quite worried about what I would walk into. I checked out the room before paying, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised! The rooms were Great! We did book a double suite with a kitchenette, but when we arrived, we were given 2 rooms with kitchnettes with a connecting door. This worked out perfect for us!! I have an 18 year old who bought her friend with her and this gave them thier own room and kitchenette so they could come and go but I was still able to check on them. Then we shared our room with our 14 yr old and her friend. It was very clean except for the carpets, they could use some cleaning or updating but were not dirty to where we worried to walk on them!!! I would difently stay there again. The price was one of the lowest I found but the rooms were the on the high side of quality!

Absolutely nothing. Worst hotel experience I have ever had to endure.

Music at the bar blasted til 3am. No attempt to make rooms more sound proof or volume level at the bar lowered for night time. Room smelled stale and seemed poorly cleaned. Staff was unsympathetic to any of the complaints I made throughout the night. Absolutely the worst stay I have ever had anywhere in my entire life.

I like the location and friendly service.

There is room for improvement on the quality of food of the restaurant, pool maintenace, and booking should be a little more clear. We were expecting to use the indoor pool when we arrived (considering it was poring outside, and we come to find out the indoor pool was out of order.(booking never made this clear to us) Children dont understand these kind of things. I also was not to content with the parking fee. I am a guest at your facility, where else should we park???

My family and I stayed six days and loved it . The rooms were very nice and clean we loved the swans on the beds made from towels . The staff were very friendly . We had a side view of the beach but was still a nice view . The tiki bar was really nice and loved the party on Friday nite . We would very much consider staying again next year

The beach was pretty and so was the ocean.

This motel was pressented well on the internet. Great pictures but the place was a dump. It was literally falling apart. The rails were broken offf and literally falling into the parking lot below. One of the elevator was broken the whole time we were there. My husband who is disable waited for the elevator for 30 minutes on several different occasions before he coulld get upstairs to the rooom. We always took the stairs down since the elevators were so ridiculos. The rooms were big but they smelled really bad and were damp. The balcony where the air conditioner leaked was wet and blackened from the drainage. The carpet apeared really dirty. Rooms were not cleaned promptly and when they made the attempt very little was done. Beds were made. Towels dropped off and most times the floors were not CLEANED.....There were two hot tubs on the location but according to the hotel rep they had been broken for years. This is simply not acceptable. This is a sad state to find any business in and I do feel like I was robbed.

My room was a mess, the oven and 2 eyes on the stove did not work, there was a dirty pan in the oven so there was no telling ho long it had been there, all the dishes were nasty!! The fridge froze all the fruit I brought. The bathroom was not clean and the one elevator that worked was painfully slow !! lol at the idea of being on a vacation you had to get up at 6am just to get a chair by the pool, I found out real quick the idea was to reserve a chair then not use it all day ..this was a joke. The staff was clueless I tried addressing the problems and if the could be fixed I was considering staying another night but unfazed the quoted me a price twice as much , they could not honor book it price ..we left and went to another hotel.
